Festive Fleet Street Quarter

Fleet Street Quarter, a new Business Improvement District set up earlier this year for the western part of the City of London (around Fleet Street, Chancery Lane and Farringdon Street), is running series of festival events, starting on Thursday 24 November and running across to Christmas Day. The events include a makers marker, called FIND IT, on Thursdays 1, 8 and 15 December in New Street Square. On 7 December, the Christmas tree lights are switched on in the same location. St Bride’s Church will be running a regular wreath-making session at lunchtimes, while the City of London Distillery has a gin-making workshop on 14 December.

The organisers have produced this seasonal map of the area, highlighting the location of many of the festive activities. The map is appropriately bedecked with Christmas Trees and other seasonal symbology, with a simple but pleasant orange and white base-map showing the principal streets, and is quite effective at highlighting the area and attractions.
